ATTENDANCE REMINDERS
Absence excuse notes (parent AND medical excuses) must be received within 3 school days of your child’s return to school by either sending in a physical hardcopy note OR submitting a digital excuse through your Sapphire parent portal.
Medical excuses are required within 3 school days to excuse any absence due to medical appointments (this includes tardies and early dismissals).
Educational Trip Requests must be submitted at least 2 days prior to your trip and must include a brief educational reason. “Vacation” or “family trip” are not lawful reasons to be absent from school. Students are permitted up to 5 educational trip days per school year.
Students are permitted up to 10 parent-excused absences (including educational trips) per school year.
Students are considered tardy if they arrive at school after the 9am bell.

VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES
Volunteer clearances are required to volunteer in the classroom, at school events and chaperone field trips. Click here for more information on how to obtain your clearances.
