Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!
We hope everyone enjoys the last few days of summer as we gear up for another fantastic school year! We thank parents/guardians for thoroughly reviewing the information in this email.
It is essential that all parents/guardians have access to their Sapphire Community Portal which will allow you to see your student’s teacher assignment*, bus assignment, report cards, attendance, as well as complete 1st day forms.

*Teacher welcome letters were mailed via USPS on Aug. 6. If you have not received your child’s welcome letter, contact Mrs. Mitchell mitchean@mtwp.net
Click here for our NEFF STUDENT DISMISSAL FORM 2026-2027* to let us know how your child should be dismissed on a routine basis as well as on any emergency dismissal day. Please complete this form for each of your children.
*If you do not submit a completed dismissal form, we will assume your student is an everyday bus rider this school year including for an emergency early dismissal.
STUDENT BUS ASSIGNMENTS
Check your Sapphire Community Portal for your child’s bus assignment which includes their bus number, stop location and approx. pickup/drop-off times.

Free or Reduced Meals - Paper applications are available to download from the district website, or can be requested from the school office.
Neff Elementary Visitor Guidelines
Including Late Student Drop Off and Early Student Pick Up Procedures
All first-time school visitors are required to present their state-issued photo identification card (i.e. driver’s license). The office reserves the right to request photo identification for any visitor including repeat visitors. *If you do not have a state-issued photo ID, please reach out to the Neff Office 717-569-8502 prior to your first visit.
Early Student Pick Up
Parents/Guardians must come into the office to verify their identity and sign their child out early. *Please notify the school (SeeSaw message your child’s teacher, submit Sapphire attendance note, or email Mrs. Mitchell mitchean@mtwp.net) prior to a scheduled early student pick up.
Late Student Arrival
Parents/Guardians must escort their child into the office to sign them in as a late arrival.
Anytime your child is not at school, please abide by the Attendance Policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our principal, Mr. Good goodta@mtwp.net.

School Volunteer Information: If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, at school events or chaperoning field trips, you must have volunteer clearances.
