1. Welcome & Introduction: 

   • Meeting called to order: 6:31pm

     1. 1st: Steph Gerber, 2nd: Lori DiTemple

   • Attendees: Rachel Levine, Steph Gerber, Lori DiTemple, JoAnn Hentz, Ellie Chandler, Whitney Tsakonas, Eric Checcia, Ruth Wagner, Devon Reichl, Kelsey Hollenbach, Pedro Santiz-Vazquez

2. Approval of minutes from last meeting— September 10, 2025

3. Review and approval of bylaws- updated September 2025

   • 1st: Steph Gerber

   • 2nd: Lori DiTemple

4. PTO Update: Rachel Levine

   • Lion’s Quest:

     1. Did we meet our goals- raise $15,000 and increase parent involvement?

        1. Raised $18867.90

        2. Increased parent involvement- over 20 volunteers

        3. Increased school participation: 60% school participated

     2. New Goal- keep it going with future volunteer opportunities- Pottery Night, Teacher meals

   • Passive Fundraising

     1. Restaurant Nights-  Sara Bowers

        1. MOD Pizza- Nov 17, All Day event

           1. Teacher Lunches 10:45am (Ellie) and 11:45am (Rachel)

        2. HoneyGrow- December 12, All Day

           1. ? Teacher Lunch- Yes

        3. January- Hoping for Sandwich Factory

           1. Hoping Mr. Good can help make the connection

2. Spiritwear- Sara Maysilles

   1. Went great

   2. Not as big of a profit as we did not upcharge as much

   3. Changed vendors

   4. Future considerations: 

      1. Names on the back? 

      2. Liked that it did not have a specific year. 

      3. Adult size for the “Class of Size” 

      4. Ball Caps

3. Should we do Mabel’s Labels?

   1. Consider for Popsicles on the Playground next year

4. Upcoming Events

   1. Pottery Night

      1. Pre-sales: 154 Pieces

      2. Profit: $171.00

      3. Considerations for next year: Volunteers from KeyClub

   2. Food Drive

      1. Kick off is Nov 14th at Pottery Night

      2. Nov 17-21st

      3. Grade Level competition

      4. Announce on SeeSaw opportunity to volunteer for the sorting? 

   3. Teacher Conference Meals

      1. Monday Night: Chik-fil-a Catering

      2. Tuesday Morning: Breakfast

   4. Go ‘N Bananas- changes in pricing and package inclusions

      1. Tuesday, 1/20

      2. Able to provide same prices last year, no unlimited arcade

      3. Go ‘N Bananas will provide the ticketing online + kid’s meal passes

   5. Ice Skating?

      1. Will proceed with planning

   6. Closet cleanout

      1. Can it be done during off-school hours? 

      2. January/February or Summer

   7. Talent Show

      1. Erin and Whitney are meeting Friday for Talent Show planning

      2. Save the Date announcement in Mr. Good December Gazette?

      3. Formally announce after the Holidays

      4. How to manage stage crew

         1. Application process? 

5. Planters/Artist in residence follow up

   1. Can we look into plant sculptures or similar to meet these needs?

   2. Sculpture artist are more expensive

   3. Ferns or Oriental Grass

7. SLAC (Superintendent’s Lay Advisory Council) Report: Lori DeTemple, Liz Kavanaugh, Matt Kavanaugh

   • New name: SAGE (Superintendent’s Advisory Group for Education)

   • 2 meetings this year

     1. 1st meeting: Music Program

     2. 2nd meeting: Security Program

     3. Upcoming conversation: Emotional Support Dog Program

     4. Still waiting for a secretary so minutes can be uploaded 

8. School Board Update from Joanne

   • Nitrauer Elementary renovations

     1. Renovations vs Build New

   • Manheim Township High School Stadium

     1. Stadium is now below code to be able to 

        1. Accessibility

        2. Bathrooms

   • Dr. Henderson is resigning

   • Our Questions: 

     1. Landis Run Intermediate School Driveway Issue?

        1. Bus Transportation for more students?
